AS Examination tips

Again this is directly from our revision session today. Please come and ask for help if you need it or post a question here.

1. Answer 2 questions – 1 from Section A – Data Response (25)
- 1 from Section B – Extended Prose (2)

2. Take time (5 minutes) to choose the questions you will answer – make sure you can answer well all parts (especially 6 and 8 mark questions).

3. Answer the question directly – follow the command word – and don’t go off the point. (See basic list of command words in next post).

4. Use the resources when you are told to (Part a of questions)– give figures, places etc from them.

5. Illustrate all of your answers with examples and case studies. E.g. places, figures, dates, etc.
